Born on November 4, 1977 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
Chandana’s paintings often represent portraits and traditional Sri Lankan paintings. He uses charcoal, water colour and oil on canvas.
He is a visual art teacher in a public school in Sri Lanka. He is also a freelance visual artist, child book illustrator & author in Room to Read, Sri Lanka and other national and international open forums.
He graduated from the University of Peradeniya with a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. In 2010, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the same university. In 2013, he completed his postgraduate degree and obtained his Master of Education.
In 2017, he obtained his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
