Workshops are an important opportunity to continue to grow as an artist. Workshops provide an opportunity to spend concentrated creative time with like minded peers. More often than not, students travel away from home to attend a workshop. It’s like attending a creative retreat. It is a time for you to nourish and replenish your creative spirit. New friendships are made. Not only do you learn from the teaching artist, but you have a classroom full of other artists from whom you will also learn things.
